What is a Tax Residence Certificate (TRC)?​

A TRC is an official certificate issued by the Ministry of Finance in the UAE. This document basically certifies that an individual or a business is a tax resident in the UAE, which provides great taxation benefits.

Who is eligible for a TRC?

Individuals

Should have a UAE residence visa
Should be residing in the UAE for a minimum of 180 days in a year Businesses

Corporates

Should be at least a year old
Should have a physical office/lease agreement
